Endings and Beginnings (31.12.21)
We will always have endings and beginnings.
“To everything there is a season
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven”
Here to Hear You
Here to Hear You
We will always have endings and beginnings.
“To everything there is a season
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven”
Just as Madonna said “Beauty is where you find it.”, our peace and stillness of mind is also where we find it.
Sometimes it will be a place and time we don’t usually think of looking.
“If we treat each other with respect
and more often wear a smile,
remembering that this special dash
might only last a little while.”
(Linda Ellis)
Opening a pack of old greetings cards or photographs inevitably transports us to an earlier time in our lives.
Memories are re-ignited and relived and our thoughts stray to those we have loved and those no longer with us.
Reflecting upon this experience, I see it now as a shining example of ‘The Universe always has our back.’ We should always remember, “Just because we can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel doesn’t mean it isn’t there.”
Having competition should not put us off trying something new or striving to achieve an ambition of ours. Whichever way we turn, we are likely to face competition.
Rather than being a negative thing, perhaps we can use it to spur us on to our best efforts.
Whenever and however our light arrives, one thing is certain, it will only do so if we seek it out.
If we don’t look, we will never find it and to have any chance at all, we must keep looking.
My way out of the previous situation was obvious and a simple choice to make.
Over the last twenty four hours, a ‘light bulb moment’ occurred and an answer of sorts dawned upon me.
Life often throws in a roundabout or two as we journey through this human experience of ours. On such occasions, sometimes it is easy to see which is our exit and which direction is the way to go. At other times, we circle that roundabout unsure of how or when to exit.
We must learn to recognise when our own fuel tank is emptying. The emotional, physical, spiritual and mental demands we place upon it will vary and affect the rate of emptying.
